Excited to be at Davis-Emerson Middle School

I am very excited about serving as your principal at Davis-Emerson Middle School. Having worked in the Holt School Zone for several years, I know first-hand about the quality of our students, the commitment of our parents, and the dedication of our faculty/staff. Education is the best hope for our students to achieve their greatest potential. The world in which they will enter as adults will be unlike no other we have experienced. Today, educators - parents and teachers - are faced with the challenge of preparing our students to become life-long learners, to develop the ability to work well with others, and to adapt readily to change. Their future is one where they must be open to new ideas, embrace the changing cultural landscape, and have finely honed problem-solving skills.

My goal for Davis-Emerson Middle School is to develop a community of learning where students, parents, and faculty come together to see that these challenges are met. We want every child to feel safe, be successful in their academic work, and be fully prepared for high school and beyond. I look forward to meeting and working with you and your children.
